Ekelunds Linneväveri – Sweden’s oldest weaving mill since 1692.

Ekelund textiles are found in 20 countries around the world, and we weave towels, placemats, runners, napkins, tablecloths, blankets, children blankets and pillowcases. Our style is timeless and personal, often featuring patterns from our Scandinavian textile tradition. We also collaborate with well-known brands like Frida Kahlo or Pettson & Findus.

Here at Ekelund, we have chosen to keep our roots deeply anchored in Swedish soil and have all our production in Horred. By having full control over the entire production chain, we can fine-tune our manufacturing to match demand. With a green perspective, we manufacture textiles in 100% organic linen and cotton. Since 2016, we are also GOTS-certified, which means that every product you choose from us carries an organic label of responsibility, care, and genuine craftsmanship. The certification covers the entire chain from cultivation to finished textile.

In 1878, our first delivery was made to the Swedish royal court and Gustav V. Being a royal court supplier is a prestigious accolade we have proudly held since then.
